GENERAL INFORMATION
Unique, Original, Pioneering
Sustainable conservation is our goal in developing the tourism sector, with a sense of concern in environment as our foundation in strengthening the tourism sector.
The foundation that we have established has created several activity programs that are engaged in social eco-projects such as Education and Culture, Conservation and Environment, as well as Community-Based Regional Economic Development that is environmentally awareness.
The foundation we founded implements programs outside the Nature Reserve Area and Nature Conservation Area, with the hope of minimizing environmental damage caused by various human interests.
By developing and building Human Resources in the environmental sector, a new generation will be born who care about the environment.

Amazing Experience
Being in the middle of them (wild nature) and finding events that we may have never seen and experienced is not impossible. Being their protector (wild nature) by having a high sense of concern can minimize environmental damage and provide space for the development and growth of their ecosystem and habitat so that the mutualistic symbiosis process is maintained.
One of the most beautiful things is when we can share space with other creatures around us, this attitude will add positive energy to all souls on this earth.
Indonesia Climate
Indonesia has a tropical climate with two climates, namely the dry season and the rainy season. The dry season usually occurs from May to October, while the rainy season occurs from November to April.
The uniformly warm waters that make up 81% of Indonesia’s area ensure that temperatures on land remain fairly constant, with the coastal plains averaging 28 °C (82 °F), the inland and mountain areas averaging 26 °C (79 °F), and the higher mountain regions, 23 °C (73 °F).
Great Time to Visit
Tour program The tours we create have their own visiting times and run every year, changes in tour times and locations usually following climate conditions or circumstances which often change over time.
It is very important for us to predict the climate conditions in the next few months so that the tour runs well. Meanwhile, the information on the visit schedule is adjusted to the available tour packages.
Here are the effective times to visit:
- January, February, March, April, May, November and December is the low season for visitors, but Orangutan Safari takes this extraordinary opportunity to make the months almost perfect for touring.
- June, July, August, September and October is a high season with a very high number of visitors, where the atmosphere in Tanjung Puting National Park will be filled with tourists and will be less good for your vacation and the wildlife around us.
However, Orangutan Safari has a tourist spot for orangutans and other wild animals outside Tanjung Puting National Park that you can visit, making Orangutan Safari at the forefront of managing and developing the tourism sector.
